Preparation and Characterization of Bovine Serum Albumin Nanoparticles of Curcumin using a Chemometric Approach

Bovine Serum Albumin (BSA) has been presupposed to be a versatile protein polymer for targeted drug delivery. BSA nanoparticles can lead passive targeting of drugs the inflamed joint via Enhanced Permeability and Retention (EPR) effect due their specific affinity towards because inadequacy in affected region. Hence, aim study was develop loading curcumin (BSA_CUR_NPs) by nanoparticle albuminbound technology its optimization conducted 33 Box Behnken Design (BBD) order achieve desired particle size entrapment efficiency. Further, optimised were also assessed polydispersity index, zeta potential, total content, in-vitro release study. The response surface plots equations generated BBD predicted relationship between variables under formulation C12 found have 207.1 ± 1.36nm, PDI 0.138 0.03, efficiency 75.04 0.06 %, content 91.40 0.08% potential -32.9mV. exhibited good sustained up 8 days. use chemometric approach led development BSA_CUR_NPs with characteristics less experimental procedure. Therefore, it presents an important model producing using albumin as enhanced delivery loaded joint.
